Description

Reliant EMS is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help expand our visibility, grow community engagement, and support vital fundraising efforts. This volunteer role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, digital communication, and using creativity to make a difference in public safety and healthcare.

You’ll work closely with our leadership team to manage social media, create promotional materials, and engage the community with the inspiring work our responders do every day.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow Reliant EMS’s presence across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
  • Create engaging content (posts, graphics, short videos) to highlight our mission, events, and team
  • Assist in planning and promoting fundraising and donor campaigns (e.g., Giving Tuesday, sponsorships, community drives)
  • Support advertising and outreach initiatives, including press releases and digital/print materials
  • Track engagement metrics and suggest strategies for improvement
  • Ensure messaging aligns with the organization’s brand and mission
Qualifications
  • Passion for community service and public health
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media, marketing, or communications (preferred)
  • Basic design or content creation skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Previous nonprofit experience is a plus, but not required
